SoundHuman

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms cover use of the SoundHuman Chrome extension and related services ("SoundHuman"), provided by cFire Innovations. By installing or using SoundHuman, you agree to them.

What SoundHuman does

SoundHuman analyzes text you provide (pasted text or text extracted from a resume PDF) using an AI model, and returns a score and suggestions intended to help your writing sound more like you and less like generic AI output. It is a writing aid, not a guarantee of any outcome (such as passing a specific employer's screening process, or being accepted for a job).

Accuracy is not guaranteed

No AI or human detector is perfect. Scores and flagged phrases are suggestions, not verdicts. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding on the final wording of anything you submit, send, or publish.

Free and paid plans

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SoundHuman to attempt to overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service (including circumventing free-tier limits through automated means), and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty, limitation of liability

SoundHuman is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, cFire Innovations is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the extension, including outcomes related to job applications or other decisions made based on its suggestions.

Changes to the service or these terms
